GPA question

I'm an EE student looking to apply to MS schools.

So my first two years at a CC, I got a 3.7.
My last year at my 4 year school, I only got a 3.23.

My CC grades are listed on my transcript, but not actually included in the calculation for my undergrad school gpa.

So is this the kind of situation where I could assume my actual performance by these schools will be interpreted as more than a 3.3? As an average between the two? Or do they only care about your performance at the 4 year college?

I regret taking this CC route if that is the case...most of my easy classes I took there and have nothing but math, physics, and ee taken at my 4 year school. Naturally my gpa could be better..

Thanks!

It will vary from school to school - some will use your overall gpa, some your last 2 years, and some will calculate a “major gpa”. Your CC grades will help you in the first case only. I do not think your transfer affects this.
