<p>So, I'm a really smart kid...just very lazy. My rank was in the 18% tile like 2 weeks ago. Then I don't know what happened. I got a new transcript today, and my rank is now in the 24% tile weighted (Q1), and 26% tile unweighted (Q2)...so, one of the schools I am applying to, Texas A&M, grants automatic admission if you are in Q1 and score a 30 or better on the ACT. Will I be considered Q1 or Q2? Also, I'm graduating a year early so this is with the junior class and not the senior class. I will not be classified as a senior until next semester</p>
<p>Also, I think my GPA and rank are wrong, and my counselor agrees, but she won't do anything about it. Freshman year I did horribly but yet my GPA was a 4.2 and I was in the 11% tile. At the end of my first semester of sophomore year I ordered a transcript and after getting all A's and 2 high B's, with a more rigorous courseload, and my GPA dropped to a 4.03/6 and my rank was barely in the first quarter. How is that possible? It's been slowly increasing, but now it's still only a 4.13. I tried to talk to her about it, but she wouldn't do anything. This is one of the reasons that I am graduating early, because there system is so messed up.</p>
