GPA questions... :D

Alright-y then. I am currently attending a community college and am planning on transferring to a four-year university. My high school GPA was… well… I’m not entirely positive because I ignored it out of shame, but I know it was below 3.00. Probably around 2.50. Mayyybe less. Okay probably less.
I did the SATs in 2014, so it was a 2400-point score scale. I don’t recall my score, but I believe it was between 15-1700, so… not so competitive (maths butchered me).

My current CC GPA is 3.78 (that is for 48 credits). I have 4-5 more quarters to go, and I have been doing better every term.

So, I was wondering how that would affect my chances of being accepted. I know some universities don’t require high school transcripts, but there are a few I was looking at that do. Should I just avoid those because of my terrible HS transcript, or will my CC transcript make up for it… a bit? Or is it far more complicated?

In short…will my life be ruined by my depressive and indifferent high school self!!!

Most universities won’t really care about your HS record if you have proven that you can handle college level work and do well. Don’t restrict yourself, if a university is going to discard your application because of your HS record, so be it.
