I was just wondering if law schools take your accumulative GPA or your GPA for your major into consideration.

Also, if you haven't completed all of your classes (say you have one more class to take) for your major at the time you apply to law school, does this work to your disadvantage?

They take the overall GPA, not just for your major. Your overall GPA is very important but many adcoms have also expressed a desire to see good grades in upper-level classes outside of your major. I suppose it shows versatility and ability to succed/try different things.
