Would a student with a 4.0 weighted GPA and a top 3% ranking have the higher advantage against

a 4.0 weighted GPA and a class rank of 40/250 (20%) <------------my current status

Assume similar SAT/ ACT scores. I'm just wondering about RANK :)

I’m not entirely sure, but I would imagine that colleges take the prestige of an applicant’s high shool into consideration.
