Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if any of the following schools recalculate high school GPAs: Vanderbilt University, University of Notre Dame, University of Michigan, Loyola University, Boston College, Columbia University or if you know of any other schools that do. Thanks! :)

I'm interested in how the different schools recalculate GPA too... do they weight based on difficulty of classes like high school does? (+1 for AP, +.5 for honors)

woah. my school counts honors like a regular class. (+0)

i know UCs count +1 for AP's, honors, and college courses.
(calculated as total gpa altogether)

I know that some schools take your academic classes (math, science, language, english/lit, social science) and recalculate those grades from sophomore and junior year (sometimes 1st semester senior) on a 4.0 scale- but i was wondering if anyone knew if the schools I posted above recalculate...

UMich recalculates, but I don't know about the other schools.

does anyone know if vpa is calculated in the gpa?...i know pe isnt
