GPA Recalculation Question

Which of the ivy leages do not factor in, or look at, your freshman year when recalculating GPA? In addition to those 8, can you please tell me if Johns Hopkins, U of Michigan, and CMU factor them in? Finally, do they do the GPA by the A: 4, A-:3.7, B+: 3.3, B:3 scale? Or the A: 4, B:3, C: 2 scale? Thank you very much.

P.S. I know this is a lot of info. to ask for...but I sorta need it soon. Thank you very much for the help.

Anyone? Please

michigan does not do A-

they do straight
A
B
C
D
E
scale

B+ = B

and i think it factors in freshman year

I've done my son's on both A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, and the straight A=4.0, B= 3.0, etc. There's not much difference, if your grades range from A thru B. The .3 less for the A- and .3 more for the B+ cancel each other out if you have a few of each.
