GPA recalculation

how does the adcomm recalculate your GPA?

They only look at the core classes (math, science, etc.) you took your sophomore and junior years and unweigh your GPA based only on those scores.

so, does an A- still count as a 4.0?

yup (I don't like the 10 characters thing).

wait at my school its a 5.0 scale and
level 1/Honors (or AP): A = 5.0, A- =4.7
level 2 (regular class): A = 4.5, A- =4.2
level 3 (like the "needs extra help" level): A = 4.0, A- = 3.7

how the hell would this be recalcuted?? (only majors are included in GPA but it needs to be taken down to a 4.0 scale and i think its weirdly weighted...)

the adcomm is the admissions commitee right?

hilary it doesnt matter what your schools gpa system is. An A+/A/A- is a 4.0, B+/B/B- is a 3.0 and so on

really? for all colleges?
