I've heard that your GPA supposedly resets once you get into the UC system after community college. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, do you know how that works if you plan on continuing your education after your undergraduate degree? I'd presume that we'd have to report all grades, regardless, right?

Thanks!

yes it is true, and depending on which gard school, it varies by school.

Your GPA does not reset. You will have a UC GPA and a GPA for courses outside of your UC GPA. When applying to grad school both will be taken into consideration but I heard that more emphasis will placed on your upper division courses.

So far all the Grad School apps I've seen request grades from ALL colleges attended. But your GPA DOES get reset to 0.0 (or 4.0 if your optimistic like me) :)
