I'm just wondering...some schools have different letter grades conversion to the 4 scale.

In my school, A = 4, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B= 3, etc etc

At schools some schools, a B+ is a 3.5.

I'm applying as freshman transfer applicant from NYU...gunning for Cornell and UPenn. How will the GPA factor be considered due to these differences?

Also, is NYU consider one of those recognizable/difficult school that the GPA can be slightly lower? And because I'm a freshman now, they will STILL look at my H.S. GPA right? My H.S. GPA was a 3.75. My college GPA is a 3.34- 3.66. I haven't gotten all my grades yet, but thats the range.

Any ideas?

Thanks
