Gpa Scale..?

My schools GPA system worked like this:
A+ 4.0
A 3.75
A- 3.5
B+ 3.25
B 3.0
B- 2.67
C+ 2.33

this is a little harsher than other schools where any A is a 4.0, or where you can have up to a 4.33

Now, in my senior year, my school changed it to be more fair where:
A+ 4.33
A 4.0
A- 3.67

etc.

However, they didn't recalculate our first 3 years
will colleges take into consideration our GPA scale?
I have a 3.56, but where all A- is a 3.5

(and now, senior year, with the new curve I had a 3.84 the first MP.. figures)

It all depends on your class rank. Just GPA doesn't say very much.

my school doesnt even weigh grades
every class is out of 100 and the mid term and final count as much as a marking period

i think thats stupid because they are only an hour and a half long.

so do colleges care

At least with our school, on the 'school report' thing it explains the GPA scale. I'm guessing yours will do something along those lines. Also, colleges almost always (as far as I know) recalculate your gpa based on their scale (so they can compare them equally), so as long as they see your actual grades it should be ok.

a = 4.0
b+ = 3.5
b = 3.0
c+= 2.5
c = 2
etc.
+.5 for aps, +.25 for certain tough courses

what about percentage grades? i think mine are pretty tough
a = 94-100
b+ = 90-93
b = 84 - 89
c+ = 80-83 etc.
