GPA Scale

What's your school's GPA scale?

Mine is currently:
A+ - 4.0
A - 3.5
B+ - 3.0
B - 2.5
C+ - 2.0
C - 1.5
D - 1.0

But they are changing it to:
A+ - 4.0
A - 3.75
B+ - 3.5
B - 3.0
C+ - 2.5
C - 2.0
D - 1.5

A - 4.0
B+ - 3.5
B - 3.0
C+ - 2.5
C - 2.0
D+ - 1.5
D - 1.0

+.5 for each ap. and a couple classes are weighted .25

on our transcripts, they delete all the '+'s and '-'s.
so:
A - 4.0
B - 3.0
C - 2.0
D - 1.0
F - 0.0

Honors & AP get weighted the same; add 1pt.

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

AP/IB courses get 1 extra point, honors and intensified classes don’t receive any boost. Their is no factoring in of +'s or -'s in our GPA or shown on our transcript.

at my school 4.33=A+!
not sure why…
i don’t even know what the scale for weighted grades is, i think AP is 1 pt.

A+=4.0
A=3.67
A-=3.33
B+=3.0
B=2.67
etc

A = (93>)
B = (85-92)
C = (77-84)
D = (70-76)
69 and below is an F

AP’s are weighted on 6.0
Honors are 5.0
Std is 4.0

Multiply your pt scale by the weight and that is your grade pt

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

Some AP or even Honors classes are weighted 5.0 scale.

^ ditto…

exactly like “squirrel_monkey’s” school.

A=4 (90+)
B=3 (80-89)
C=2 (70-79)
D=1 (60-69)
F=0 (Below 60)

AP classes get one point extra.

A (93-100) = 4.00
A- (90-92) = 3.67
B+ (87-89) = 3.33
B (83-86) = 3.00
B- (80-82) = 2.67
etc.
For weighted, all honors and AP class are plus 2 and “regular” are plus 1, but then it’s out of 5, not 4. It’s weird.
