At the end of last (junior) year I had a 3.26. This semester I have about a 4.0, and that brought my overall gpa to a 3.44. It also made my class rank jump 10%
My question is how do colleges see this? It’s good, obviously, but how much will it affect decisions? Will it be a deciding factor, or will they think that although I improved my overall gpa is too bad to be accepted? I’m afraid that they’ll look at my transcript without my mid-year report and automatically reject me.
So that’s it. I was just curious, I know that no one can really answer for sure, but any personal experiences or advice is welcome.
