<p>I have always been told that you need all A's for ivy league schools. However, does anyone know like a estimate of how good your gpa should be for ivies. I've also heard that B's are unacceptable. How many B's can you get in your high school career? Is a 3.9 gpa good?</p>
<p>There is no restriction or set gpa that you need to get into top schools, although it does show your work ethic and such. A few B’s in hard AP course rigor is fine, and I think anything above a 3.5 is fair game for top schools </p>
<p>3.5 is a bit low for top school. I would say 3.7 is probably the border line.</p>
<p>really depends… Low income and urm and first generation typically have gpa drop by maybe .1 or .2</p>
<p>Look there are kids at stern that got into with 3.5 gpa and nyu at 3.3 gpa… It not the sole factor</p>
