Okay, I'm transferring into montclair state in the fall. I finished 2 years at another school with a 3.2 gpa. I am in a small dilemma of options. I want to take 3 summer classes at a community college near me, this way it would be cheaper, and I may even graduate early. Also, even if I don't graduate early, I would end up up with a shorter 4th semester, giving me time to study for the gmat. But since I am transferring, my gpa is zero for the time being. The only thing keeping me from taking the three classes at the community college is a cumulative gpa. The three classes at the community college include 1 100 level for my minor, and 2 general requirements. I am majored in Poli Sci, minored in business, and will most likely go for the mba in the future.

I figured that if I don't take these classes, I would have more classes to help a future cumulative grade. So my question being is which way should I go? And what would be more appealing to business grad school (I want to go to Rutgers Business School)? Should I take all three classes or not (or 1 - 3)? Is my major gpa much more important? Would it be enough that they simply look at good grades at the classes I took at the community college? Help me out!
