GPA too low for UVA???

<p>I'm a junior and African American Out of State (MD). My GPA is a 3.714uw 4.21w cummalitive and i have pretty good EC's...school doesn't rank...and lets say i got like a 2000 on my SAT thanks!</p>

<p>...All honors and AP classes also..(some classes only offer honors and not AP)</p>

<p>hmm...for out of state it's a little low, but a 4.21 is not bad at all! plus, you've taken hard courses, which explains some things as well. you definitley have a chance though, just have really good essays. if you're a junior, you always have time to bring it up and to work on the SATs a little. good luck!</p>

<p>I wouldn't worry so much about the GPA being low, but more about the SAT being a little low. that GPA isn't so bad, especially because you're an urm</p>
