Hi, guys I am community college student who is applying for UCLA.

Current my GPA is about 3.687
If I take out grade from ESL class, it will be 3.745.
Because I got B from ESL class on the first semester of college. (ESL = 5 units)

Will UCs take out ESL, when they calculate my GPA?
Please let me know if you have any idea!

Oh, one more thing !
Can I get in UCLA with my current GPA? My major is political science.

Please please leave me some comments!

Poli sci average is about 3.8 acceptance rate. No idea about the ESL class. Good luck!

Is the ESL class UC transferable? If so, there is really no way to get rid of it.

Luckie is onto something. I just checked ESL at Los Angeles CC’s and they are not UC transferable, only CSU. So I think you’re ok.

At my CC, some are and some aren’t, so you will want to get your course catalog and double check.

Transfer student’s Average GPA for Poli science is 3.8 …?
I heard it is 3.7

3.77 if you want to split hairs.
