I know that GPA is more important at UCLA, but are they going to start putting more emphases on the SAT I? especially since they're starting holistic admissions now. I've checked a lot of sites and some say they're putting less importance and some say they're putting more because of grade inflation.

No, because it is a holistic view, the SAT and GPA are almost equal, with GPA being more important.

bump......

I'd say SATs, a GPA can vary depending on the difficulty of the curriculum that your school has, but everyone takes the same SAT.

I'd have to say BOTH...their average GPA is 4.0 or 4.1 (UC) and the SAT's seem fairly high as well, so while some may get admitted with less of one than the other, most have both a high GPA and SAT.

for ucs they care about gpas more for privates standarlized tests

The UC GPA has always been the most important for UCB/UCLA. Then comes SAT I and SAT II scores, which are weighed evenly now that the SAT II Writing test has been incorporated into the SAT I test, at the behest of the UC system.
