I am in the Ib program and have a current gpa of 4.0 when weighted but only 3.2 unweighted. Will Texas A&M university look at my unweighted gpa or my weighted gpa when deciding whether or not I get accepted into their school ?
Are you in the US? In Tx?
They will look at your class rank, not gpa. If your school doesn’t rank, they will assign one based on gpa and school demo.
Yes I live in the U.S… I do not currently live in Texas but I have for a few years previously and I am moving back
Your school will probably have a rank for you, ask your GC. Check out your school’s profile (there should be one on the HS website, or ask your GC for a copy). Also get a copy of your transcript, and see what is reported on that. Like as not your UW GPA is going to be visible. Are you moving back for senior year?
