Gpa

I won’t say you can’t make it into any of those schools but it could happen that you end up with no acceptances. Look at W&M: they only admit 35% of applicants. Your scores are near the top but your GPA is somewhat average. http://iae.wm.edu/ir/CDS/cds_1112_part_c.pdf</a> And they use many other criteria to select students. I don’t remember - have you asked your GC about a possible safety?

No, I always preferred not to talk to the one’s in our school. They are strange most students agree that is feels awkward when speaking with them. What do you mean safety?

A safety school is one that you absolutely positively should get into. Preferably one that you’d be happy going to.

Hint – take the safety schools seriously, many students should be accepted at a place statistically, but find that they aren’t because they’ve taken the school for granted (i.e., not visited, etc.). This bothers some schools a lot. Others less so.

Yeah, but the thing is based on my gpa (and nothing else) the schools I consider safety schools are schools that I wouldn’t care about getting into much at all. I may as well go to cc if I can’t go to like Berkeley/W & M/NU Which is the hardest to get into btw?

Well, then go to cc and transfer to UC Berkeley is your safety path.
http://www.cpec.ca.gov/OnLineData/TransferPathwayChart.asp?Inst=A0001A</a></p>

I know but it’s so hard to choose that path…

Well then add some safeties. Colleges choose you so most students don’t have a choice.
Are you in-state or out of state for UCBerkeley? If you are out-of-state you might get in this year, the UCs need money badly.

Really? Bad news, I’m in state. I don’t have to apply now…
