Gpa

do you think brown could accept someone with a gpa below 3.0, if there is no upward trend?

in fact

a downward trend
here is a graph

-

-

freshman
sophomore
junior

senior

Mmmm...unless there were some outstanding EC or accomplishment, I doubt it. Brown may not be as score driven as other schools, but academics is still first and foremost in its decision.

i hate do be the one bumping
but

bump

Dude you've been here long enough that you know that Brown doesn't care that much about grades. Although they do care. Ehh, you all know what I'm saying.

yea
i'm hoping to pull it off

if made a huge improvement in my GPA this first quarter and then my guidance office messed up sending it and call them in tomorrow, will they reconsider my app if it has already gone to committee?
thanks a bunch

iunno, maybe, I'm not Brown Admissions staff, call em.

yea, i just emailed them
this makes my identity widely known if you are on brown staff, i hope i havent said anything untoward

I emailed them a while ago about something and all I got was a lousy form email saying they were busy and then a section with FAQs. I'd call tomorrow for a better response.

I sent a follow up email to them to see how everything was going and got a reply from one of their officers within 8 hours...

did you just use the contact us email?
