do you give colleges your weighted gpa for only junior yr or all your yrs though hs? and what about the unweighted gpa?

Everything.

In addition, though some schools may not integrate freshman year grades into the GPA, Harvard and many other competitive schools will essentially recalculate your GPA based on your transcript in a standardized fashion for all applicats, so as to compare everyone on a common system.

What is this standardizied fashion?

They pretty much just recalculate everyone's GPA so they're all on the same scale

Yeah, I understand that, but what type of scale do they use (e.g. how many points for an A+ in an honors class or an A- in an AP class?)

I am guessing a 4.0 scale, but does it really make any difference whatsoever what scale they use? It might as well be a 1-1000 scale... but your position will be the same regardless. 'A' range will be 'A' range, 'B' range will be 'B' range.
