<p>common app asks for gpa and asks in a drop down for scale used. Our school does everything on a 100 point scale and my transcript reflects that both for weighted and unweighted. </p>

<p>Question is, should I just use that 100 scale or should I translate everything to a 4.0 scale?</p>

<p>Which looks better? 94UW/98W or 3.9UW/4.2W?</p>

Reporting Class Rank and GPA</p>

<p>You should report your current Class Rank and GPA, even if they might change later in the school year. If your school does not rank, select “None” from the drop down menu. If your school calculates both weighted and unweighted Class Rank/GPA, report the weighted value. If your school does not calculate a cumulative numerical GPA, or if it uses a GPA scale that is different than the options available in the drop down menu, leave the Cumulative GPA field blank. This field is not required for submission of your application.

<p>Basically, follow whatever is reported on your transcript using a 100 point scale.</p>
