GPA

I be been having this question since last year, I’m a freshman in HS and everyone is already thinking about colleges and stuff, but im confuse in relation to the GPA, I mean to that look at the weighted GPS or at the unweighted GPA?

@ClaudiaPerez475, everyone has to start thinking about colleges because your grades in high school matter. Work on taking the hardest classes at your school and getting very good grades. Typically, the universities look at the unweighted GPA.

I believe GPA is looked at in relationship to the school as different schools weigh AP/H differently. Most schools have some sort of service that looks at student data to determine what type of average SAT and GPA is needed to get into a school. Our school uses Naviance. There are various things you can do to increase your grade but don’t stress it too much and definitely don’t take classes because they’re easy. Challenge yourself and you’ll grow. If you don’t do well in highschool, you can enroll in community college and transfer to a good school by showing that you pulled your act together.
