Gpa

So my freshman year I took a math class and passed with an D. It was not a class for my major, so the D was acceptable to pass with. On my transcript, the credit hours were not counted in my gpa hours and I received no points for the class.

I took the class again, but didn’t need to because I passed the first time, I didn’t pass but this time the hours and points were included in my gpa calculation.

This semester I finished with 2 D’s, 2 C’s, 1 A, and 1 B, but my gpa is a 1.95.

It took a while before one of my grades posted, so at first I only saw 2 D’s, 1 A, 1 B and 1 C and my gpa was still a 1.95.

Could there be errors in my gpa calculation? I tried to calculate my gpa myself and I came up with 2.1 for this semester alone.

Why was the first d from the math class not counted? That wouldnt make sense unless you took it pass/fail.

You also said you took the class a second time but did not pass. This would mean an F, but you havent included that anywhere.

I don’t know why the it wasn’t included the first time. The class isnt pass/fail. No I didn’t pass the class, which means an F, the second time but that time it was counted for. The first time I took it would’ve made the difference because you don’t get points for not passing in which I didn’t the second time

Were the classes all for the same number of credits?
You should contact your Registrar with any questions.
