gpa

this isn't a chances thread but i was wondering...

what is your impression of a person who has (apprx.) a 3.5 UW GPA and a 4.3 W GPA?

They don't have a job...

uh i dont get it

jason15975346 is just being sarcastic.

I'd think that you are taking very challenging courses (looking at your 4.3 W GPA) but aren't doing very well in them (3.5 UW GPA).

3.5 UW

I'd just think, "average joe"

P.S. no offense intended. Just saying that :)

Hah, paco! got it! Only few appriciate my humor.

yea i still dont get it. sry jason.

thanks ppl. i love how ppl automatically assume im posting my own gpa.

and i wudnt say 3.5 is not doing very well. id say average like protege, but okay paco. i love all opinions

dude a person with a 4.3 weighted GPA is not an "average joe," good God not everybody's a damn genuis in this world, and some peopel would die to have that GPA. damn if somebody doesn't go to an ivy league, it doesn't mean he or she is "average"

I know someone with a 3.5 and she's flipping brilliant. Her weighted GPA is probably pretty high. I'd consider this person: very smart, aims high, has potential, lacks work ethic

i know there are people with 2.0s my god. 3.5 uw is never amazing but its certainly higher than avg joes. Not average CC members as we want to and care about going to college. Average joes care to late and sometimes dont care ever. These people get 2.0s to 3.0s. It doesnt sound real but when you think about it the kids in low level classes really dont care at all. I consider anything above 3.25 uw good, anything above 3.5 great, and anything 3.75 to 4.0 uw is brilliant. However if you arent taking alot of weighted courses and your classes are very easy than your uw gpa wont matter as much... but
3.5 is above average imo.

3.5 i think it depends on people...but i personally think it's 'average/good'
