Gpa

Does USC have a special way of calculating GPA? cuz i saw on the accepted board someone say that they had a 3.97 USC Gpa... so just wondering

thnx

usc gpa = everything unweighted

really? cause i heard USC takes into account pluses and minuses.

well...i'm pretty sure your high school GPA and your USC undergrad GPA are calculated two different ways. once you're at USC, your GPA does take pluses and minuses into account.

otherwise, you're unweighted high school GPA is your "GPA" for admission. and even then, i'm sure your weighted GPA factors somewhat into admission.

The weighted GPA does factor in. They recalculate based on your transcripts, but I am not exactly sure which formula they use. (Most schools recalculate using their criteria so they can better compare candidates.)
