I have a question....
I have a below average GPA by UM standards... 3.5 UM 3.8 UW 4.2 W. I also probably didn't take as strong classes as I could have- all honors but no AP's. BUT this past year I really started working hard and now I have a 4.0 UM 4.17 unweighted and a 4.83 W and half my classes are AP's, all the others are honors- a huge difference. I sent in my first quarter grades; do you think they will be taken into account? I applied ER on 10/26 everything was received by 10/31 and I still haven't heard back... which I think could potentially be bad but who knows. I have a 32 ACT too if that makes any difference (English 32 Math 31 Reading 32 Science 32), and I'm out of state
What do you think?

that doesn't really make sense...
you can't increase your gpa from 3.5 to 4.0... its impossible.
unless you got your past teachers to change your grades...

if your saying that you have a 4.0 gpa Senior year, It may help if your wait listed or deferred but I believe they don't calculate it into their first "UM GPA".

include some ecs if you want a good judgment on acceptance probability.

yea the 4.0 is only for my senior year grades- even though hacking into the schools computer to change my grades DOES sound like a good idea.. haha
i'm just hoping that UM will see the change and think it's a good thing- i'm working a lot harder now
