How do I calculate my Grade Point average? I feel like a moron for not knowing what mine is, or how to do it.

Do you have a program of studies (like student handbook) from your guidance office? Inside should have detail explain of gpa.

oh i do! I’ll check it thanks.

Also, this web site has a GPA calculator. [Calculate Your GPA](Raise GPA Calculator: Tools to Improve Your Grades - Back2College)

hahah I give up on life. I have yet to discover my grade point average.

very confusing business.

it depends on the school, but you usually take the grade you got in the class, like an A is 4.0, an A- is 3.6666, a B+ is a 3.33333. and a B is a 3.0 so on. so you can caululate it that way.

Let’s say you took 4 courses and got an A, A-, B+, B+. You would add the corresponding numbers…4.0, 3.67, 3.33, and3.0 and divide by 4 to get your gpa. If one of the classes is a half credit class, take half of the number (i.e. you got an A in art class, which is a half credit class, so use 2.0 instead of 4.0.)

exactly Keylyme. that is a good way to explain it.

that helps dragon kid and keylyme! thanks I’ll try that.

isn’t it really hard to get a high GPA in boarding school???
