Gpa

My freshman year I didn't do very well. I had a 3.29 GPA, however in both my Sophmore and Junior years I had a 4.0 GPA. Basicly it was because Freshman year I had no focus or goals and didn't know wheather or not I even wanted to go to college. Is there any way I could use this as an advantage? If I get straight A's this year, which I plan to I should have a 3.79 GPA I THINK!!! How much do you think my Freshman year will affect me?

the same thing happened to me. while they love to see growth, they would prefer a constant. but a 3.79 is still very good and you can get into a great school with that

Some schools don’t even look at 9th grade. (UCs for example.) Good job finding focus in 10th!

Rising trend is very good especially when you keep it up for 2 years. Your freshman grade will be ignored at most colleges. However, it may affect your rank which takes into account of your freshman year.
