how do i calculate my GPA on the 4.0 scale? weighted? unweighted?
thankss =]

A- 4.0
B- 3.0
C- 2.0
D- 1.0
F- 0.0

Weighted, usually
A- 5.0
B- 4.0
C- 3.0
D- 2.0
F- 1.0

You don’t get a point for F’s in AP classes.

is that the scale that everyone uses on CC? like when people post their stats?

^no, at least not for me. the unweighted scale is the same as that one up there, but at our school the AP/GT weightings are:

A - 5.0
B - 4.0
C - 2.0
D - 1.0
E - 0.0

basically, you only get weighted pts if you get an A or a B. and for Honors classes:

A - 4.5
B - 3.5
C - 2.0
D - 1.0
E - 0.0

The one above is what my school uses for honors classes.
As for APs, I’m pretty sure mine is:

A- 6.0
B- 5.0
C- 4.0
D- 3.0
F- 0.0

It’s weird.

My school goes by

Unweighted -
A- 4.0
B- 3.0
C- 2.0
D- 1.0
F- 0.0

Weighted -
A - 5.0
B - 4.0
C - 2.0
D - 1.0
E - 0.0

Weighting is different everywhere and doesn’t matter at all anyway.
Standard UW is the A=4, B=3 etc.

UW is

A=4.0
B=3.0
C=2.0
D=1.0
F=0.0

Weighted GPAs vary greatly by schools; mine in particular is

Honors
A=5.0
B=4.0
C=3.0
D=2.0
F=0.0

AP/IB
A=6.0
B=5.0
C=4.0
D=3.0
F=0.0

My school’s Honors goes by its unweighted which starts with A = 4.0 as said above, etc
