Do colleges transfer your GPA into there system or just use whats on your transcript?

Depends on your school and state. Some states have GPA standard and the colleges can accept them directly because they adhere to a collegiate 4.0 scale. Some don’t, so the college will convert most to all of the GPAs they receive from schools or states they received without the standard to their college’s standard. In short, just because your high school adds weight to something for your GPA, or uses a 7,8,12, etc. point scale, does not mean that’s what the college will add weight to or accept.
