<p>Soo, I'm entirely confused about GPA. Everyone I ask tells me something different..How are the GPA's which colleges see, calculated if they don't have all of my grades (up until the last quarter of my senior yr)? I was hoping that the only GPA colleges see is sent upon graduation from high school, so that I have time to improve it. (I slacked off during my freshman yr & didn't do too hot this yr either...But I have the motivation now to excel in my last 2 years)</p>
<p>Colleges use the cumulative GPA from 9th through 11th grade. They will also see the mid-year report from your senior year. So, every semester until your 8th semester matters. The 8th semester just determines if your admission gets rescinded or not.</p>
