Which one do the UCs’ hold more importance to?

My stats for 10th and 11th:
Unweighted- 3.3
Weighted (capped, 8 semesters of honors credit)- 3.75
Weighted (uncapped)- around a 4.0

This is the end of my junior year and I will be taking a summer school math course. How will the UCs see this grade? Will it be calculated in to my junior year grades?

Anyone?

Is capped or uncapped more important?

depends...the UC's that have points systems use your capped, so that'd be more important

I'm not sure, but if the UC's do summer school like my high school than your grade will go into senior year.
I took Geometry over the summer after 9th grade, and it is put into 10th grade on my transcripts.

And for your gpa, i'm pretty sure the uc gpa is the most important (8 semester cap)....

1) According to the UC application form:

Summer School Grade after 8th ---> 9th Grade

Summer School Grade after 9th ---> 10th Grade

Summer School Grade after 10th ---> 11th Grade

Summer School Grade after 11th ---> 11th Grade

2) UC's look at UC Weighted GPA most importantly:
* 10th Grade GPA (only 2 semesters' Honor or AP weighted)
* 11th Grade GPA (only 6 semesters' Honor or AP weighted)
For A-G subjects (refer to the application) only.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm kinda upset since during sophomore and junior year together I took 8 (well 7.5 since one of the classes was a one semester econ class) AP/Honors classes (15 semesters) and since I got a mixture of A's and B's my UC weighted GPA looks really pathetic =(

sam:

the 8 semester cap doesn't matter which year the classes were taken -- it's 2 in 10th grade and 6 in 11th; it could be all 8 in 11th grade.
