GPPI vs KSG - Help!

I am deciding between an MPP in GPPI and KSG. Here are the stats:
GPPI - 20,000 out of 34,000 funding + small research assistantship
KSG - No funding

I have been in research for a few years now and would like to try something that is more applied. GPPI would definetly be in my comfort zone, but it is strong in the areas I am already strong in (quant and research). Yes, this would help me grow further in those areas, but at the same time HKS would take me way out of my comfort zone and prepare me with a new set of skills.

I want to go into policy analysis in public or nonprofit sector. So if I went to HKS I would be poor for life, but I would probably have the opportunity to get whatever job I want (and be poor). If I went to GPPI I would still get a great edu, but would not have the same network and name rec. Any advice?!?

I feel for you. Same (or at least similar) boat. I'm so confused right now.

Where are you now? Do you need the DC policy scene to help you get the job you want?
