I have been looking and I can't seem to find the certain requirements that a student must fulfill to graduate with B.S. I at CLA you have to meet several different catagories (Environment, Mathematical thinking, Civic life, blablabla) and I would like to know what catagories you need to fulfil. Thanks!

If you are talking about the Liberal Education requirements (environment, math, writing, etc.) you have to complete those at all the colleges, whether you are at CBS, CLA, CSOM, etc.

If you are wondering the exact courses you need for your specific major, just look up your major at : [University Catalogs : University of Minnesota.](http://www.catalogs.umn.edu/index.html)

Ok but what makes a B.S. major unique? CLA requires 2 years of a foriegn language so what does CBS require?

^The Nature of Life orientation/2 credit class and the Foundations of Biology 2 semester sequence are both specific to CBS majors I believe. Not sure if that’s the kind of information you were asking about, but as plumney said it’s all spelled out in the CBS course catalog.

BS at CBS requires a 5-course sequence of Chem in place of the 4-course sequence of foreign language at CLA.
