Grad School Acceptance Rates?

Anyone know where to find grad school acceptance rates for top schools (i.e.: harvard, mit, michigan, cornell, washu, etc.)? I can't find them anywhere...

Thanks!

It varies a lot from program to program, but I found that many schools don't post such information -- you might be better off emailing the departments individually.

I'm primarily wondering about architecture schools. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Minnesota is one of the very few that publish the admit data:

The Graduate School : Select Program

I've seen a similar site for Duke but I don't have a link just now.

In any case, graduate admission rates are pretty much meaningless because the process is so individualized. Take a look at the "Graduate School Admissions 101" thread to get an idea of what's involved.

Search for Colleges and Universities, Graduate Schools, Online Degree, Private Schools - Peterson's has acceptance rates for a bunch, though not all.

[The Graduate School - A Princeton Profile](<a href=“Facts & Figures | Princeton University”>Facts & Figures | Princeton University)

It literally varies from department to department and from campus to campus. You can find the info on many campus websites if you dig for it.

Yale has statistical profiles for most programs:

However, they only report total application and matriculation numbers.

Sorry to necro the thread, but I thought some people might find this useful:

I’ve seen “acceptance rate” in a US News ranking of all the universities
