Grad school after McGill

I was just wondering how hard it is to get into a good grad school in the US as a McGill undergrad student, especially as a BA student. I know that the grade deflation is rough and wasn’t sure how much of an effect it has on the admissions process. Thanks!

Top students at McGilll get high GPA’s if they are independent and hard working. Academics are rigorous certainly. US grad school adcoms are familiar with McGill and other top Canadian universities.

I know multiple people who have done it. I do not know how we quantify how hard it is.

The people that I know who did undergrad at either McGill or Toronto and then did graduate schools in the US were very smart and very hardworking.

One thing that I do not have a strong handle on is how much of the “grade deflation” at McGill is real, and how much is because McGill is easier to get into than the top Ivy League schools, but is not any easier to graduate from.
