Grad school application query

Hi everyone!
I recently wrote my GRE exam and scored 326 (170Q+156V) on the test day. I have a couple of queries regarding the score. First of all, is my final score going to be different than the one I received on test day. Secondly, I am a civil engineering undergrad, is my score sufficient to help me get top 10 universities? My ultimate goal is to go for PhD, so does that help in my application?

Use the Grad school forum for grad questions, and there is a subforum for GRE questions. But no your score won’t change. Yes the score is fine, but the GRE is a necessary hurdle but the least important part of the application. It is generally thought that while it can hurt you, it can’t really help you.

There could also be times where GRE scores are used for financial aid purposes once you made it past the first cut…
