Grad school at FSU

hi, I'm a history major/political science major in florida. I have a 3.4 gpa and was considering fsu for grad schools. Does anyone/someone you know go there? How does it stack up compared to UF?

What are you planning on studying?

masters in history

FSU is much better for political science than UF (really don’t know why anyone would go to UF for this subject). For history, it likely doesn’t matter.

See the links contained within these pages for some references:

[fsu.edu | The Department of Political Science](http://polisci.fsu.edu/)

yeah im at ucf right now and graduating next may and really interested in fsu grad

I don’t want to be that guy, but do you know what you want to do with a master’s in history?

Teach in highschool and eventually move onto becoming a professor. I’m not closing my options though such as getting into politics which is why i minored in poli sci

Understood.

Per US News:

UF’s history department is ranked #48 in the nation.
FSU is ranked #101.
UCF is unranked.
