I am sitting on a 3.65 right now at a small private school and I am looking into a Masters in Political Science in either International Relations or Comparative Politics. I have yet to take a GRE, but I think I can do very well on one. I am about to head to my junior year and was wondering what are my chances to get into a Cornell, USC, UCLA, Georgetown, Washington (Seattle), Texas, Duke, or FSU? Are Masters in Poly Sci worth it? Either it is that or Law School for me, which I find as a trap for loans.

Please forgive my lack of familiarity with the political science graduate landscape, but Duke, Cornell and Georgetown are reaches for anyone in this field. However, I cannot give you more chances than that.

Any recommendations then based off my GPA in general (not a specific program since you aren’t familiar with specifics according to your post)?
