Grad School Housing on Campus

<p>hey guys,</p>

<p>i've been offered grad housing on campus. 2 bd 2 bth 2 ppl. im on the wall. should i live on campus or commute? cost isnt an issue since i'll be paying the same thing. but as a 1st year PhD student, would it make more sense to move near campus? i like 35 minutes from campus. </p>

<p>im leaning towards living in the grad housing so i'd have the opportunity to meet some fellow grad students. unfortunately as a 1st year, all my other friends have transitioned into the business world, so im on my own. </p>

<p>sounds like you answered your own question! the opportunity to meet other grad students and develop a new social network is important.
D would have liked this option when she began Gard school.Her school didnt offer on campus housing for grads,and their off campus was on the sketchy side location wise.</p>
