Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. This is my first time posting (though I've been reading for a while) because I'm in desperate need for some good advice.

I graduated last June from a well-regarded public school, and really loved the experience of going to college but I felt like I royally screwed up in a lot of ways. I graduated with just under a 3.0 in Economics and maybe left a good impression with just one professor. I don't feel like it represents my best work, but I don't want to make any excuses about it. There are just days when I wish I could re-do it all again.

Career-wise I'd like to work as an economist some day, although not necessarily in academia. What kind of programs are realistically in my range (assuming a solid GRE score)? How would I improve other weaknesses in my application, specifically a lack of letters of rec? Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!
