<p>If it’s a different school, yes. If it’s the same school, it depends on whether it is FFELP or Direct Lending (or so I am told). No, if it’s DL. Yes, if FFELP, I’m told.</p>
<p>As we say in my office, it doesn’t hurt to do it again if you’re not sure! :)</p>
<p>Here’s a really stupid question: how do I know if it’s FFELP or DL? Would that info be available from the lender?</p>
<p>It should say on the school’s FA website whether they’re a direct lender or under FFEL. You can also check here, under financial aid:
