Hi, everybody.

I am a mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University, Boston. I currently have a 3.9 GPA and I have recently been accepted to do undergrad research for an NSF center at NU in Nanomanufacturing. I have a different option though: I can transfer out to Cornell or UT Austin, cost is not really a huge deal. In the future I would like to attend grad school in engineering and then hopefully in business (MBA). What do you think would be a better option: staying at Northeastern, doing research and keeping my grades up OR transferring to one of the elite engineering schools, maybe getting lower grades and hopefully doing research as well.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
