I recently graduated with my undergrad degree in Criminal Justice (CJ) and a GPA of 3.78. I do not want to take the GRE and UCF’s MA CJ program does not require it. I was wondering if anyone has been accepted to the program without taking the GRE but had a pretty good GPA, letters of recommendation, and other things to rely on.
I have. I got accepted into my program without a GRE. You need to have an really good GPA, letter of recommendations, and essay. My GPA was average. I think it was 3.2. What made up for it was my recommendations and my essay. My essay was extremely well written so I think that helped a lot. You can also look on their website. They list the acceptance rates so that will give you an idea on how tough it is.
