Grad School

IRish maybe you can help with this one? How much weight is placed on the GRE's for Grad school at ND. My son is interested in studying theology has a 3.9 GPA won the philosophy prize at his college which is given to one rising senior. He has double majored in Philosophy and History and minored in theology. He has his own business which he tends to every weekend. He is not the best standardized test taker would do great in verbal but not so hot in math. What do you think?

Mike doesnt visit the boards much anymore, but he said if anyone needs his advice that you should email him at his WV website. Ill send him a message and hopefully he’ll answer your question.

Believe it or not I did see this before the message. I check the boards daily but don’t have much time to post, but if you put my name in the subject I usually see it.

GREs unfortunately are very important for grad school admissions regardless of GPA. However, the good news is that if he gets a GRE test book and really marries himself to it it is a test you can completely study for. I raised my score 150 points from a baseline by studying for a summer! If you have any specific questions or I can help let me know!
