Grad theatre @ Brown

I was rejected from Brown this year for grad. I know sad, sad, sad, it is THE greatest university, I believe, in the world.
So heres my thing: I live very close to Brown (MA/RI line) and I’m interested in still going there (HA HA they’re not done with me yet!) Should I take some classes, get to know some faculty, and then perhaps re-apply? Since I live close – it’s convenient. This might prove to them how serious I am of being accepted. Also, I don’t want to do a “probationary” grad student deal because you are often looked down upon by the department.

But, I could also apply to one of Darthmouth’s MA liberal arts/interdisiplinary programs – the deadline for is in July – or NYU’s Tisch MA Performance Studies in the FALL.

Thought I’d throw some options that I’m chewing on out there – i doubt anyone has ever been in this quagmire before – but i could def. use some imput…

THANKS!!

If I were you, I would try to contact Brown's grad admissions to see just how close you were to being admitted. If you were close, then maybe you should take classes, etc. If not, then I wouldn't bother.
