Grade 11 Schedule

Hi, I am about to enter the eleventh grade and I need some advice about my course selections/schedule. The eight courses I am taking are:

Math
English
Social Studies
Biology
Chemistry
French
Religious Studies
General Psychology

I would highly appreciate if anyone could offer the best way to organize these subjects into my two semesters. Also, any suggestions that would split up the work load equally would be great. Thank you.

@alignments What level is each of the subjects at?

@Alison177 Every subject is at the grade 11 level.

@alignments‌

Yeah, but “Math” is kind of ambiguous since 11th graders take varying levels of math. Algebra II, Pre-calc, Calculus…? Also, does your school have honors or AP courses?

Unless you don’t go to school in the U.S, in which case none of us have a clue.

@ThatOneWeirdGuy Sorry, I should have been more specific. I am taking Pre-Calculus.

@ThatOneWeirdGuy Yes, my school has honors and AP courses but they are much too difficult for me so I am not taking them.

Does your school have honors, AP, IB, DE or any advanced level classes? If so, are you taking any?
If you want to know how to best arrange your classes for each semester in order to have a balanced workload then you should ask current juniors at your school.

@IAmNotCreativ My school does have advanced classes but I am not taking any. Also, I am too shy to ask the current juniors at my school so I came on here for answers. If you could rate the courses from easiest to hardest along with what courses I should take for each semester would be greatly appreciated.

@alignments Well, “easiest” is subjective because everyone has a different definition of easy. Personally, though, pre-calc was a tough course for me, as were bio and chem.

Also, are these courses all two semesters? Which ones are one semester?

@Alison177 These are all the courses I am taking next semester and I wanted someone to organize the classes into two semesters. So four classes one semester, and four classes the second semester.

@Alison177 If you could advise me what four classes to take the first semester and what four classes to take the second semester I will be grateful.

One semester: Math, Bio, French, Religious Studies

Another semester: English, Social Studies, Chem, Psychology

This is just a suggestion. The main thing I suggest is not to take Bio and chem in the same semester. Chem is heavier on math than Bio, so you could also have math and chem together; personally, I like to split up the math.
