Grade Calculation

Hey I am a senior in high school and I'm taking an online course at a CC right now, so I figured this question belonged here. My professor weighs grades as follows:
Exams: 50%
Homework: 25%
Discussion: 15%
Paper: 10%

I was wondering if anyone knew how he is calculating grades right now, since our papers and discussions have not been graded yet. In other words, only the 50% from our tests and the 25% from our homework is part of our grade right now, yet he posts grades regularly. What is he doing with the 25% of our grade that has not been considered yet?

he just posts the grades based on what info he does have… so calculate your grade out of 75% instead for now and just disregard the unknown 25%

You can rescale those percentages. For example, assuming the percentages so far only add up to 75%, multiply the percentages by (100/75).

Exams: 66.7%
Homework: 33.3%
